Thanks for trying the LEAGUE ASSISTANT for Windows.

This program is shareware. Feel free to evaluate it as long as you like to be sure that it suits your needs and those of your league. If you like it and choose to use it for your league, you are required to register a license for your copy of it. You can obtain a temporary, free, full license registration for 14 days by contacting the author with the version number you want to register. Registration details are provided in the file ORDERING.TXT which is included in the compressed distribution file or by selecting "Registration" from the "Help" menu and clicking on the "Order Form" button.

Full documentation is provided in the online help file LEAGUE ASSISTANT.HLP. Also included in the help file is a tutorial. New users are encouraged to read and work through the tutorial. It will answer almost all of your questions and prepare you to use the program for your league without any problems.

The LEAGUE ASSISTANT is a versatile, easy to operate sports league record keeping program. With this program you can eliminate the hours spent each week manually updating your league records. After setting up your league with the program you will maintain accurate and detailed records by simply spending a few minutes each week entering the scores. As soon as the scores are entered the program takes care of all the record keeping details. In addition to a comprehensive weekly standing sheet, a variety of detailed reports and graphs can be printed at any time.

See the help file for more details and directions.

For example, if the installation files were placed in the directory, C:\WINDOWS\TEMP, then you would use Windows Explorer to navigate to the contents of this folder and run SETUP.EXE

Follow the directions given by the Setup program. When the Setup program is done you will return to the Program Manager or File Manager for Windows 3.1 or the Desktop for other Windows versions. A new League Assistant group will be have been created by the setup program. With Windows 3.1 you will be able to start up the program from the League Assistant group. With other Windows versions you will be able to start up the program from the Start menu. Start up the program and read the shareware announcement. You will want to examine the help file first to get familiar with the program before you try to use it for your league. Press F1 to bring up the help file.
